Three friends joined hands in october 1995 to form a new Club, which was named as Rotary Club of Belvedere Gardens Calcutta.  A symbol of Love & friendship was created in the Club logo of 3 Roses, which became famous all over the RI Dist. 3290. The then DG Alok Chand Mitra (1995-96) appointed PP Rtn Provat Banerjee of Rotary Club of Kabitirth as official GSR. The Sponsoring Club was Rotary Club of Kabitirth. Rtn Rakesh Kr. Jain was elected as Charter President & Rtn Rakesh Khanna as Charter Secretary. The Charter Presentation Ceremony was held at The Hotel Kenilworth on 13th April 1996, where the Charter was presented  to our Charter President Rtn Rakesh K. Jain by the then DG Rtn Alok Chand Mitra.

Hosted SETs, Worked in all the Four Avenues.Formed 1st RCC at Behala & opened a MCH Clinic. Received Several Awards for 100% participation in Dist. programme. Club received 1st Prize for Work for Literacy &  Numeracy, 3rd Prize for Public Relation & Inter Club Relation, 1st Prize for Contribution in Rotary Foundation, R.I.President & DG Citation. Award received for Best Outstanding Club.

Rotarian of the Year Award was awarded to Rtn Deb Kumar Mitra.

1998-99     Rtn Girish Khandelwal

Organised Blood Donation Camp, Literacy centre for Sex Workers, Medical health Check-up, Sit & Drawcompetition for Children. Donated medical equipments  to our MCH clinic of our RCC, Blankets. Regular health checkup of Street Children were carried out and Free  Medicines & Nutrition materials were distributed. Arranged Teachers Training programme.Helped in  Pulse Polio Immunization. Donated funds for Dist. Hospital. Co-hosted Dist. event for Workshop on Rotary Information &
Contributed for Rotary Foundation.

Hosted PETs, Co-hosted Intercity Seminar on Drug Abuse & Combat  Aids, Rota Quiz, Dist. Bijoya & Diwali Meet, Dist. Holi Meet & Women Upliftment,  Dist Workshop on E.D.P.Family Exchange programme with the club of R.I. Dist 3250. Worked in all Four Avenues. Club contributed for Rotary Foundation.Two members became MPHF. Club received. First Prize for work done on Literacy , Second Prize for  Contribution in Rotary Foundation, besides RI President & DG Citation alongwith number of  Appreciation Awards for 100% participation in Dist Programmes.

Co-hosted  Intercity Meet on Vocational Service, Dist Bijoya & Diwal Meet, Dist. RCC Conference, RYLA. Seminar were organised on Rotary Information & Ischaemic Heart Disease. Cancer Detection Camp was organised for Sex workers of Kalighat. All members of the club became Life members of 4 Way Test Association. Worked in all the Four Avenues. Club contributed for Rotary Foundation. Club received 1st Prize for Inter Club Relation, Third Prize for Contribution to Rotary Foundation, Third Prize for programme organised on Preventable Diseases, Outstanding Club Award for over all performance, besides Appreciation Award for co-hosting Dist. programme & RI President Citation.

Received Appreciation Award for hosting Seven Dist.events, Special Appreciation for Lead in Dist. for Two events, Special Appreciation Award for 100% registration in Four events. Eight Rota Award Citation for Community Services & Contributions for TRF. Significant project for Challenged, Community Service (Medical) besides RI Citation for Distinguished Club & Family values. RCC Dist. Award for opening RCC on 1st July.First Prize for Best Community Service, First Prize for Family Welfare & Citation for Literacy & Unique projects during the year. Four Rotarians received Special Dist. Appreciation Certificate for Individual Rotarians.

Co-hosted - Intercity Seminar on Literacy, UN Day, World Peace & understanding Day, Dist. Diwali, Participated in all the Dist. Events & programmes,Membership growth 23% Projects, done all the Four Avenues, Joint  meeting with 7 Rotary Clubs, Incresed fellowship feelings by holding a number of Club programmes, !00% members attended Dist. Events / ICM, Nabadisha,Polio Awareness, World Peace and Understanding & for raising funds for Tsunami were received from District. 100% attendance of club members was recorded at the Centennial Vijaya Deepawali Milanotsava 2004, Satabarsha” - Conference of Rotary International Dist. 3290 and Co-hosted Dist. Event - “Satbarsha” - Conference of Rotary International Dist. 3290 & a Memento was received besides outstanding award for presentation of exhibit on club activities,  “Centennial International RYLA, “Swanirvarata”  RI Zones 5 & 6A, RCC Conference 2004, Centennial RYLA, Dist. Centenary Vijaya & Deepawali Milanotasava 2004, Replica of Jaipur Foot by Mahavir Seva Sadan, Calcutta Centre, Sports for the Physically & Mentally Challenged  and Certificates  were received.

2005-06 Rtn Dr Ram Dayal Dubey

Doctors Day Was observed by Felicitating 10 Eminent Personalities from Medical profession. 1000 Exercise Books, Pencil and Rubber distributed to the Slum children & at our RCC Tiger Sporting Club, Phool Bagan, Financial Assistance was given for higher studies to meritorious boys and at Student of our RCC, Tiger Sporting Club for literacy. Freedom Health check Camp was organized for morning walkers, Blood Donation Camps were organized at our RCC and other places. A Permanent Project – “Shishu Kalyan” was initiated at Chetla Slum area, where a number of personalities attended. Plus Polio Day was monitored and helped in immunization. School for informal education, Chetla Slum Area Children was started, where Children of Slum areas are benefited. “World AID’s Day” was observed by organizing a Street Corner meeting at the Crossing of Hazra Road & Kalighat near Red light area, which was attended by more than 10,000 people and it was widely covered by the Electronic & Print Media.  Had organized medical Camp for pilgrims of Ganga Sagar Mela & Distributed Free Medicines. The year was a memorable one as our Club Exhibit was declared as Best Exhibit in the District Conference.
 
2006-07 Rtn Dr Pradeep Kumar Nemani

Done Mega project by donating 51 Artificial Limbs to Physically Challenged persons on 1st Day itself, when he was installed as President of the club i.e. 1st July, 2006. Felicitated Meritorious Children of RCC’s, Financially helped to Orphan children, Harijan Children, needy students for further studies, Organised Health & Medical checkup camps, Blood donation camps, and Eye Checkup Camps for needy & poor persons & Slum Children of our RCC’s. He has also arranged IOL Operation for Cataract patients, Participated in Club Exhibit in Rotary Conference, Organised Awareness in designated Ward for Pulse Polio immunization, Awareness and HIV & AIDs Awareness Camp, Monthly Health checkup for Slum Children of our RCC, Literacy materials including Text Books were distributed to 286 children of our proposed RCC at Badu, Madhyam Gram & other RCC’s. A Pucca Structure Room was constructed for Informal Education of Slum Children of our RCC Shishukalyan, Chetla, where Nutritious Food packets were given to approx. 250 Children of Slum area’s with Health Checkup & Free medicine distributions, - every month. He has not only contributed for projects but also organized a number of Fellowships to enhance the Family values. “Sawani” – annual program of Mehendi, Diwali Milan, Holi Milan, X-mas celebration towards The Rotary Foundation for which he motivated i.e. Seven members for PHF & One for MPHF.

2007-08 Rtn Anand Gupta

Done Mega project on 1st July’07 to observe “Doctor’s Day” & celebrate the beginning of Rotary Year 2007-08, by holding a Health Checkup Camp for checking Blood Sugar, Eye Checkup, Bone Testing, ECG, Echo etc. Arranged regular Medical checkup & Running Informal School at our RCC Shishukalyan, Chetla Blood donation camps and Eye Checkup Camps for needy & poor persons & Slum Children of our RCC Tiger Sporting Club. He has also arranged IOL Operation for Cataract patients, Participated in Club Exhibit in Rotary Conference, Organised Awareness in designated Ward for Pulse Polio immunization, Literacy materials including Text Books, Shoes with Shocks were distributed to children on Independence Day at Badu, Madhyam Gram. He has not only contributed for projects, but also organized a number of Fellowships to enhance the Family values. “Sawani” – anns programme of mehandi, Holi Milan, Picnic. One of the Major achievement during his tenure was maximum contribution towards “The Rotary Foundation” for which he motivated members i.e. One Major Donar, 3 MPHF, 3 PHF & 2 RFSM.
